Kiss me hard

It's funny, but in another time, in another place chances are good that Chloe Sullivan would be at home on a Sunday night probably doing some reading for one class or another or typing up a lab report or whatever. In that other time and other place she wouldn't be hauled into the jail house wearing boy short panties and Kal's shirt because he'd ripped her dress off in the cop car. Damn Kal and his continual disregard for her clothes!

She had managed to salvage her very nice shoes which was a good thing because she would hate to be stuck in the holding cell with all the working girls while barefoot. As it was, she was going to have to burn the shoes when she got home.

When it came time for her to make her one phone call, Chloe figured that Kal would already have Lex covered. Chloe had to admit that Lex was pretty handy in these situations but he was also touchy about Kal getting into trouble...best to cover all their bets.

"Uh..Lana? Kal's calling Lex. We sort of need bail...and can you bring me a pair of pants?"

Good question. Mom kinda flaked out and split when I was a kid. I don't know if Dad ever divorced her. It's a weird thought.

Temptation:

Chloe's always been good about resisting temptation. She's always known that there's a price to pay when you eat the pretty apple. And it doesn't matter what the snake says - nothing comes free. Work hard. Be honest. Fight the good fight but always fight fair. Do unto others. Turn the other cheek.

What did it get her? Nothing. Nothing but knots between her shoulders from the tension and a huge knot in her stomach from shoving down any unacceptable emotions that came along. Anger? Shove it down. Jealousy? Swallow it down with a shame chaser. Don't like it? Suck it up. Eat the guilt and gobble pain.

She's a different person now. She feels light. There's no anger. Chloe doesn't feel sick anymore. She gets what she wants and if she doesn't get it right away she finds a way to get it. How about a fairytale? People seem to like those the best. Anyway, here goes...

Once upon a time there was a beautiful princess, but this story isn't about her. There are enough stories about the damn princess. This story is about the beautiful princess' next door neighbor. We'll call her 'Cute'. So Cute was a good girl. She was smart and fun and all the things cute girls are supposed to be. She even had a huge crush on the handsome prince. But if you know fairytales at all then you know the handsome prince never hooks up with the cute girl. It's always the beautiful princess. That's just the way of it. It's enough to really PISS A GIRL OFF ya' know?

So there Cute was with all these annoying feelings and thoughts and trying to live in her own little bubble and getting a little more pissed off every day when something amazing happened. She went into the magical caves on the outskirts of the village and when she came out she was a completely different girl. Instead of hiding behind her paper or always trying to be everybody's friend Cute decided she was going to go for what she wanted. She wasn't going to bite her tongue anymore to spare anyone's feelings and she wasn't about to deny herself what she wanted. First thing she wanted? What she'd wanted ever since setting foot in Smallville...to GET OUT.

Lucky for Cute, she didn't have to go alone. Her best friends and rogue knights were coming with her to a bright shiny new land called Metropolis. They were going to seek their fortune, have a good time and do a lot of body shots.
